FIRE AT WAIPUKURAU.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WAIPDKURAU, this day. By a fire, which occurred on Saturday morning, large premises, occupied 'by Mr, W. 'H. Booth, in which were situated engineering works, iblackamitih's shop, and coachibulilding works, were completely destroyed. Many vehicles were saved, but a large number were destroyed. All the tools were lost, and one workman lost a kit, valued at £ 50. The traildinge were insured for £610, and the machinery for £300, iboth in the Guardian Company, which also held a rjskof £500 on the stock. Mr. Booth's loss is estimated at £€00.
