The Consolidated Coispany'e energetic mine development policy has resulted in very payable ne.w.. ore •bodies -being opened up in. No. 9, 10, and 11 levels from 1500 to 1900 , feet deep. The stone from No. 10 couth is very rich, so rich that it is bagged from the face. There is also so much stone that additional battery power of 15 heads is being constructed, making 35 heads. The Perseverance mine, up Murray Creek, once abandoned? by the Consolidated* is now being -worked under the present management, and. good values in the reef are being followed- Crushing recommences at Progress mine on. February 1.
