STRIKES IN PORTUGAL.
RAIL-WAY TROUBLE SETTLED. LISBON, January ]5. The railway employees' strike has terminated. The men have been granted increased wages, a nine-hour day, 20 days' leave on full pay, and free passages to their wives and families. The gusworkers have now struck. Naval stokers relighted the furnaces at the gasworks, and the military dispersed the strikers, who were objecting.
