TRAMCAR FATALITY.
STEPS BACKWARD FFROM MQV_JQ CAR. ' ~ Edward Moloney, about 33 years of age, and a resident at Derwent House, Church-street, Dervonpont, received* i_. juries of co serious a nature in SynKmda, street on Saturday evening, that he died a. few hours later at the hospital. Moloney and a companion had visited the city during the evening, and about halt past nine they were standing at the corner of Newton-road and Bymondsstreet, when Moloney appeared suddenly to make up his mind to catch a town■bound car -which was just moving off, Deceased reached the car, hot the othe* man was unable to do so, and called Old that he would follow in the next and meet Moloney in town. Not desiring to part company with his friend deceased evidently decided to wait also, but in ttt confusion of haste" he stepped, off *_b facing uhe opposite direction to w_ieh the car was moving, and fell heavily 01 the back of his head with the mori)* ' turn.
