AN ARSENAL ABLAZE.
BIG FIRE AT BREST. (Received 11 a.m.) PARIS, December 9. A destructive fire is reported from Brest. I A careless workman employed at the arsenal dropped a lighted cigarette amid a quantity of inflammable material. The fire spread rapidly from this, and a large portion of the costly buildings and their contents were destroyed.
