Mr. McGowen. Premier of New South! Wales, delivers his Budget to-night. The Adelaide Electric Supply Company has decided to increase its capital by £100,000. The P. and O- Company's profit for the year just closed was of which i 57,181 is to be carried forward. The Marquis of Linlithgow (son of the first Governor-General of Australia) is engaged to Sir Frederick MUner's daughter. A hundred pounds' worth of jewels and heirlooms have disappeared from the Duke of Argyle's apartments at Kensington Palace.
