WHO OWNS THE WHALE?
BLENHEIM, this day. Mr. Florance, 6.M., gave judgment for plaintiff for £200, full amount and costs, in the case Jackson v. Baldick and others,- claim for value of a "whale lost by plaintiff's party in Queen Charlotte Sound, and found by defendants. Notice of appeal was given by each of the defendants, and the case will come (before the Chief Justice this week.
