(Received 10.10 ajn.) PERTH, this day. The wreck of the schooner Harriet Constance, which has been missincr for three years, has been found at Stewart Island on the north-west coast. She left Fortescue for Cossack early in 1907 in charge of Captain Anderson, and was not since reported. JEALOUS JAP.'S MURDER. (Received 10.10 a.m.) PERTH, this day. A jealous Japanese shot dead a French girl named de Faur. He then attempted to commit suicide, but failed. THE BROOME HURRICANE. (Received 9.35 a.m.) PERTH, this day. The boats lost in the Broome hurricane total 101, while 19 are still missing. AEROPLANE SMASHED. MELBOURNE, December 4. Cugnuet, a visiting French aviator, attempted to make an ascent at the Austral meeting. His monoplane rose, but the wind caught it and dashed it to the asphalted tennis court. The machine was completely smashed, but Cugnuet was not injured.
