-Among the visitors to Auckland staying ait the Central Hotel at present are •Mr. Philip P. Borne, of New York, and Mr. F. H. Pope, manager of the Otago and Southland (branch of the Sta-te Fire Office. Mr. A. S. Biss, of Wellington, who has teen in Auckland for a few daye, left for .the South by the Main Trunk last night.
