FIRE AT MANUNUI.

(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. The large box factory and dressing de« partment of Ellis and Burnand, limited; at Manunui, was burnt down at three o'clock -this morning, but, owing to the fine water service maintained by this firm, and worked by an engine outside of the main buildings, the sawmill itself was saved. The mill is one of the most modern and largest mills in New Zealand, and the company arc to be congratulated on saving it, as it was only separated from the dressing department by about 10 feet. The box factory and planing department are entirely destroyed.
