CARGO BROACHERS SENTENCED.
FLNE AND IMPRISOIOIENT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, tiis day. Salutary sentences were passed on the Kia Ora seamen for embezzling cargo during the voyage from London to Dunedin. John VV. Mills, boatewain, was ordered to forfeit £4, the amount stolen, and one month's imprisonment; James H. Barter, fourth officer, was ordered to forfeit £3 out of his wages, and nine I months' imprisonment with hard la.bour; j Ernest F. Guest and Archibald E. Kerrick, seamen, were ordered to forfeit £32, and sentenced each to six months' hard labour.
