Mr. Grinstead, the evangelist of the Churches of Christ, spoke to a large audience last night in the Ponsonby-road Chapel on " Wherein we agree with the Evangelicals." Mr. Grinstead said that there seemed an impression amongst the ministers of Auckland, especially the Evangelicals, that the Churches of Christ were not evangelical. Having shown that there was perfect agreement on fourteen of the most essential truths of Christianity, he emphasised specially the truths of the Deity of Jesus, His atonement for sin, and His resurrection for our justification. -Mr. Grinstead will speak to-night on " Wherein we disagree with the so-called Evangelical party." There will be no meeting tomorrow night. Each evening the mission commences with special singing by a choir under the leadership of Mr. W. Marson.

Mr. Justice Edwards, sitting in chambers at Wellington, has granted probate in the following deceased persons' estates:—Archibald MePhee (Mr. Fallon), Mary Pattison (Mr. Clayton), Mary Ballan'tine (Mr. Clayton), Wm.
