ANTARCTIC EXPEDITION.
THE GERMAN SCHEME. (Received 1.55 p.m.) LONDON, July 12. Bringing Berlin Geographical Society's best wishes to Captain Scot, Lieutenant Filchner discussed the plans of Captain Scott. The latter, subsequently interviewed, said there would be no rivalry. He continued, "Lieutenant Filchner does not visit the Ross Sea area, and is likely to meet us only in the event o four staying a second season. In that case there will probably be a partial interchange of personnel, some members of each party crossing the Pole."
