NEWMARKET TRAMS.

(To the Editor.) Kir, —As pointed out by another contributor, there is a shortage of cars from Newmarket via Symonds-street which the Newmarket Borough Council should see to. More cars are required, especially pfrani 7.45 a.m. to 8.15 a-m., also in the evenings from 7.30 to 7.45, a3 -well as during the day. If the cars that do run had a longer interval 'between them it would be a great' improvement; usually the Onehunga and Epsom cars are close together, and then a long interval. When a car to Newmarket is run, you have the three travelling close together, both to and from Queen-street. Surely an interval of a few minutes could .be arranged.—l am, etc., RESIDENT.
