A German aviator named Robl was aeroplaning at Stettin at a height of 250 ft, when his machine suddenly plunged, and turning a somersault, dashed to the ground, crushing and killing Eobl. (Received 8 a.m.) LONDON, June 19. _ Lady Abdy bid 120 guineas at an auction at Brooklands for the privilege of accompanying Mr. Grahame-White in a flight in his aeroplane. Before they had got well started, however, the aeroplane fell ten feet and was smashed. Neither of the passengers was injured.
