There was a larger varding than usual, and prices were on a par with last week. At Durham Yards on Friday, horses were yarded in average numbers. The thoroughbred racing pony Maika sold at 34gs.

At Pnkekohe Yards on Tuesday, more than the adTertised numbers of cattle came forward, aurt cattle of all classes sold at advanced rates on last month. Over 200 Lead of dairy cows an<3 heifers were yarded. At Westfield Yards on Wednesday, there \ras an extra large yarding of fat cattle, and sold up to fully last week's rates. Ox beef sold at 2T./ per lOOlbs. Cows and hrifers, 10/ to 22/6; steers sold at from £7 7/6 to £13 15/; cotvs and heifers, £i 5/ to £7 7/6: calves, in full supply, sold at from ilr F. Manning, Moumoukai, averaged £10 17.'
