AUCKLAND RACINB CLWS WINTER MEETING. THIRD DAY'S RACING. *;. The Auckland racing season of 1909-10 will be broupit to a close to-morrow (Wednesday), when the final day's racing in connection with the A:It.C. Winter Meeting takes place. The acceptances are very satisfactory, and some interesting racing should be -witnessed. The first race is timed to start at 12 noon, and. a special tram and train service has been arranged. ■Nominatlone for the New Zealand Cup, to he run at the C.J.C. spring meeting next November, close with tho secretary; Mr W. ■H. Wanklyn, to-night, at S o'clock. bloodstock: sale. Messrs A. Buckland and Sons held a sale of bloodstock yesterday afternoon, when the whole of the bloodstock in the estate of the late Mr J. B. Williamson were disposed of. There was a large attendance of buyers, and the whole of. tho lots were quoted at very satisfactory prices. The bargain of tile sale was the brood mare AUannah with colt foal at foot by Soult, and stinted to that horse, which fell to the bid of Mr G. Cnrrie, Wanganui, for 335gns. The yearling colt Royal Irish brought 240gns, and the filly Condamlne 295gns. The Great Northern Steeplechase winner was also offered, but failed to get a bid, although some joker in the crowd generously ottered oOgns. Gns.
