The Huddart-Parker steamer Ulimaroa, which arrived here this morning, experienced a cyclonic ~ storm after leaving Hobart, mountainous seas making aclean. breach of the steamer's taffrail, which was broken clean through. A ladder was washed, away, ■ and the iron stanchions bent like wire.
_ Water leaked into the cabins, and bal-. ing out was resorted to. Some passeni gers sought lifebelts. ;
•■ For neaily two.days the steamer only made four- knots an hour."' On Sunday the_ weather calmed down, and remained fine till'arrival at one "o'clock this ing. ' . •
