There was a good demand for both ! cattle and sheep, the yarding practically bjliig quitted, of the 07 beef penned, the majority were roxm and heifers. Pigs: We_ners, 7/; slips, 15/. LONDON WOOL MARKET. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cablegram from their London house, Under date the 12th inst:— Wool: As compared with closing rates at last sales, prices are about 5 per cent lower for medium greasy crossbred and coarse greasy crossbred. The demand on American account is restricted. The general opinion Is that the market as likely to Improve later in the year. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Limited, hare received the following cablegram from their London house: "Tallo-w.—We quote present spot values for the following descriptions:— mutton, 35/6 per cwt; good beef, 34/9 per cwt; mixed, 33/9 per owt.
