OBITUARY.
WWT.T.TXGTOy, this day. The death is reported from Temukn of the Venerable Archpriest Le Menant dcs Chesnuis, at the age of 74. He was born in France, and worked for many yc-ars as a priest in the slums of London. He came to New Zealand in 18S1, and was one of the founders of St. Patrick's College. He was the writer of a number of books and pamphlets in defence of religion. .
