THE KITCHENER REVIEW.
The district orders issued to-day by Lieutenant-Colonel Wolfe, Oiheer Commanding Auckland District, in connection with tho visit of Lord Kitchener, contain full information regarding the transport and placing of troops during the inspection and manoeuvres from March Ist to the 3rd. The Auckland District Defence Cadets will parade for review on March Ist at Victoria Park, aud those companies of cadets attending from out-cen-tres will be encamped at the Domain, and rationed by the junior cadets. Staff Sergeant-Major Cheater has been appointed camp sergeant-major ior the senior and junior _idei,s, who wili be re- • hearsed in the review ceremony at Victoria Park on Monday, tho 2Sth inst. The Auckland Garrison Band and the bands of the First Pegiment of iAuckland Mounted Rifles and First Battalion of Auckland Infantry will parade with the cadets on March Ist. Owing to the illness of Colonel Walker. Surgeon-Major Carolan has been appointed -temporary acting-princip.il medical officer. All the volunteer corps; wiil be concentrated for field manoeuvres and inspection by the Field-Marshal in the Domain as early as possible on March Ist. Officers on" the ~.- unattached active list are invited to attend the manoeuvres, and will be attached to tiie unit to which they belonged, ii it is represented. The attention of commanding officers is specially drawn to the general orders, issued on the ISth and 19th March, 190!), and the 20th Janimry, 1910.
