NO. 1 NATIVES. The No. 1 Natives fired the sixth stage of the Courts' championship belt and gold medal, also the B Class aggregate, at Penrose on Saturday. The conditions were seven shots and one optional slghter at 600 yards and 700 yards. Private Purchase getting a leg-in, with the good score of 64 out of a possible 70. L.-Corp. AKjVRANA CLUB _I_ITC--_-S. The fifth of a series of championship (A class) and aggregate (B chose) matches was fired at the Penrose range on Saturday afternoon by the members of the Akarana Defence Rifle Club. The ranges -were GOO yards and 700 yards, 10 shots at each distance. Some good range scores were registered, but "tricky patches" of wind were responsible for several "breakdowns" in otherwise promising scores. The top scorer on the day was B.
