BATHER KILLED AT BONDL.
James Kelman Thomson (60), a commercial broker, lately residing at Ruth-ven-street, Randwick, was killed at the Bondi Baths on Saturday afternoon, through striking the bottom, after diving from the spring-board. He plunged into about 6ft. 6in. of water, and after about 20 seconds floated slowly to the surface. Some bathers brought him ashore in an unconscious condition, and medical aid was summoned. On the arrival of the doctor, Kelman was dead having apparently broken his neck.
