The net customs duties collected at the port of Auckland during the month of January Just closed amounted io £54,103 3/6, compared with £51,584 7/3. an Increase of £2(iOS lt!'3. The beer duty umo-.uited to £2636 16/, as asainst £2113 2.11, an increase of £528 13,1. Tbe amount rolleeted In surtax amounted to £1190 15/7, and primage 16/7 The exports show a substantial increase In the more Important Hues, notably gold. butter, aud wool. The following Is a table of the exports for the two mouths under review:—
