According to the "Labour Journal" for November, the number of men employed on the railways in the Auckland province was as follows:—KawakawaGrahamtown 355, Helensville-Northwards 278, Gisborne-Rotorua 312, StratfordOngarue 511. feebleness in old age is greatly overcome by Steams' Wine of Cod Liver Kxtract. It gives new life to old tissues and helps and invigorates the- whole. •jstem.—(Ad.)
