The returns coming in to-day show that the Liberals arc making a hard fight, and are gaining ground as the Northern and Welsh polls are decided. The Unionist majority is now reduced to 22, and there are still 134 seats to be decided. Of this number the sitting members are Liberals in nearly 100 instances.
