CHANCELLOR HOOTED AT GRIMSBY. (Received 8.45 a.m.) LOXDOX. January 16. Crowds numbering between twenty and thirty thousand gathered outside the Fleet-street newspaper offices, in Tra- I falgar Square, and at Aldwich (the Fleetstreot end of the Strand). to watch the election results shown by lanterns on; screens. The periods of waiting were enlivened by political songs upon gramaphones. Local Unionists strongly resented Mr. Lloyd George speaking at Grimsby during polling, and a hostile crowd surrounded the hall, booed and cried "Traitor" and "Pro-Boer."
