ANCHORAGES FOR "SCOWS."
(To the Editor.) Sir, —I wish to draw attention to the gross neglect passed on the owners and masters of the small craft trading out of this port. I think the A.H.B. has enough officials to have the anchorage marked out in a proper way. At present we are harried from one anchorage to another, and we never know when we are in the right one. I also think there is plenty of room on the other aide of the harbour for the many coal hulks that are taking up the anchorages that ottght to be allowed for" the email craft of the {ort. —I am, etc., :-' ; ' X.. * ' ---■-.
