WORK TO DO.

AN APPEAL TO LEGISLATORS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, this day. The " Post" to-night publmhes an editorial on the business of the sessions. The article makes a strong appeal that members will do their duty to the country, and that Parliament, will not prorogue at Christmas. The article con-, eludes: "Is it nor, a positive outrage that our legislators should be contemplating cither passing of all measures at sight or the postponement of them until next session 1 It seems necessary to remind them that they are paid £300 a year for attending to the country's business, and that they will be getting their money on false pretences if tliey deliberately neglect that business in the scandalous manner which is now contemplated."
