An affray occurred at the Taf«rfii Homes yesterday (telegraphs our Thames correspondent). One of the inmates, John Bell, is alleged to have committed a serious assault on another, attacking him so seriously that the unfortunate man was conveyed to the hospital, where his injuries, which consisted of cuts on the head, were attended to. The police ■were communicated with, and Bell placed under arrest. He was charged with the offence this morning, but the injured man, William Burke, was too badly hurt to appear, and the case was remanded.
