KOETHERN UJJION FOOTBALL. AUCKLAND LEAGUE A.FT3IUATED. The Auckland Rugby League have been advised by the secretary of the English Northern Rugby Football Union 'that they have been affiliated to that body. In a letter, the secretary states that the English Union will recogDlse th« Auckland League as the governing body in New Zealand, and no visiting New Zealand teams will be acceptable to the English authorities except under the auspices of the Auckland body. All players also who wish to sign on for English clubs will now require a transfer from the Auckland League before they will be allowed to play for any club In the Old Country. Mr. L. B. Todd will .i<t ■as delegate for the Auckland body on tho English Union.
