COMPENSATION TO THE TRADE.

(To the Editor.) Sir, —A letter over the pen-name of "The Band of Business Men" appeared in your last night's -issue under the above heading. My statements were made openly. Therefore, when the names of the whole of the members of "The Band of Business Men" are published, so that the precious 'band shall emerge from their Cimmerian darkness of anonymity into the pure, clean light of day, I shall be happy to answer their letter. By so publishing, the band will, even at this stage, remove the cloud which now overshadows the names 'of several reputable business men.—l am. L'tC, LEO M. MYERS.
