SUNDAY FOOTBALL.

A CASE DISMISSED. ——— • (By Telegraph.—Press Association.). KELSON, this day. In the Magistrate's Court to-day eight young men were charged with a breach of a city by-law by playing football in Trafalgar Park, a public reserve, on Sundays. For the defence it was urged that no game was played, as the youths assembled only for practice and no sides Avere chosen. The Magistrate dismissed the information, as the by-law was vague, and it was not proved that any game was being played. The Magistrate declined to say whether, in his opinion, the by-law, was valid or the reverse.
