Horseß: At the Haymarket on Friday last we had a» average yarding. The draughts from Taumar-nni sold at from £flO to £40; others, £25 10/ to £35; express class, £20 to £2ii 10/; buggy horses and good hacks, £11 lfi/ to £18 10/; light harness and ordinary hacks, £6 to £14; gig ponies, from £2 17/0; slngle-sented buggy, mare, and harness, £32. Extra heavy active and young draughts are wanted. At Retnuera 011 Thursday dairy cattle were -well represented and sold from £3 10/ to £7 15/, according to age and quality. The advertised heifers brought from £3 to £4; other sorts were In fair demand. Youns and fat calves, short of requirements, sold freely, bringing from 2/ to 54/; 83 sold, a here was an average yarding of fat cattle. Prices were Inclined to be firmer. Steers ranged In price from £8 5/ to £11 2/0; cows. £8 10/ to £8 5/; 390 yarded. Mutton, in short supply, sold freely, bringing from 10/ to 23/0 for wethers, ewes 14/ to 10/9. Pigs, lv moderate numbers, sold freely. Snlall to 12/, slips to 18/, porkers to 38/; no baconers penned; GO sold.
Hides, Skius, Tallow, Etc—Hides: Ox, no extra heavy catalogues, 4id to Gd; cow, 4id to s»d; calf, 4id to 6}d; kips, 4d to old: stags', 3gd; damaged and scored hides. 2d to 4Jd. Tallow: Best mixed, 22/8 to 23/6; other samples. 14/ to 20/. Bones, £4 15/ per ton; horsehair. 1/6. Skins: Best butchers', 5/1 to 5/7; others, 4/ to 4/10; dry and country, 2/4 to 5/; small and damaged, 2d to 2/3. o
