R. D. MEAGHER ON THE ROLL.

I SYDNEY, July 28. | The Full Court, by a majority, to-day granted Mr. R. D. Meagher's application I for reinstatement on the roll of solicitors, the Acting-Chief Justice (Sir G. B. Simpson) and Mr. Justice Cohen favouring the application, and Mr. Justice Pring dissenting. The Acting-Chief Justice, in delivering judgment, said the Court considered that Mr. Meagher having carried out the undertakings entered into when his application was before the Court in 1906, the time had come when, without any danger to the public or the profession, the applicant's name could be restored to the rolls. j. The ground of Mr. Justice Pr big's dissent was Mr. Meagher's relations with' W. N. Willis, as revealed by the lands scandals inquiry.
