The Auckland Harhour Board met this fternoon. Present: the Hon. E. Mitchel;on (chairmant. ilessrs B. D. Heather, J. ?. McFarlane. A. Keyes. ,1. H. Gunson. H. I. Smeeton. J. K. Kneen. H. .7. Bradney. V. ,1. Napier. V,. W. Basley, A. .1. F.ntrloiin. •V. E. Hutchison, and Captain G. McKeuie. Wharfage Dues. -The Xorthcote Bomuch 'ouncil asked for exemption from wharfage ues on road material landed at the Northore wharf. The -equest was acreed 10. übject to the material beinp removed as con as possible. Riparian Rights. The Auckland Gas Cominny wrote statinir it could not accept £500 or the extinction of riparian rights attaohng to bind at Beaumont-street works, bur vould lie prepared to accept a water area is indicated on a pl-m submitted as com icnsaiioD. The letter w;i* referred to the 3oard in committee, and the secretary was nstructed 10 have the piece of land referred o valued. St. Barnabas' Point. The Diocesan Geneal Trust Board wrote stating that it agreed o the church property at Pt. Barnabis' 'oint being cur down to the level of adja■ent land, provided it were the same area in the lower ieveL with an equal frontaire 0 the new road. The letter was received. Towage Exemptions.—The Huddart Parkt Company and the Northern Steamship lompany asked for permits exempting their nasters from the provisions of the by-law especting the use of the steam tug. Per;ocal applications of a similar kind were nade by Captains Entwistle (s.s. Victoria). lolford (s.s. Tofua), and Rolls (s.s. Talunel.
