The annua! balance-sheet and report showed the Court to be In a strong position. Lately, It was staled, a new piano had been secured at n cost of £6Sa new matal floor had been laid down in the v ~/.' an outla r of £30; decorations to the building, £10; and Inverted incandescent lights, £7. Laking; auditors, Bros. C. H. Skinner, F. W. Walker, and W. A. Worrell; delegates to D.M., Bros. J. Shaldrick, P.D.C.R., —. Worroll, and F. W. Walker, P.C.R.'s. LOYAL GOOD INTENT LODGE, M.U.O. The quarterly meeting was held in the Cook-street Hall last evening. There was a large attendance. Bro. M. Dllly, N.G., presidincr. A telegram was read from the Hon. Thos. Mackenzie, stating that it had been decided to revert to the former scale of 21/ per week maintenance fees for members of friendly societies at the Rotorua 'Sanatorium. This successful result of the representations of the friendly societies gave great satisfaction. The election of officers aroused great interest, and resulted as follows: Bro. M. Dllly. G.M.; Bro. F. N. Bushell, N.G.; Bro. H. J. Stevens, V.G.; Bro. W. Tuckcy, L.M.; and Bro. H. 3. Hooker, E.S. A letter was read from the secretary of the Auckland Friendly Socleties' Dispensary, stating that arrangements bad been made whereby urgent medicines would be dispensed at any hour of the night. The meeting cordially approved of this step, an advance which will be much appreciated.
