Before the Press Conference, Mr. Reginald lleKeniia urged the placing of the'navy 'a.bovef party, and making it as Imperial, question in the sense t>l partnership in the navy. ' An amusing exchange of denials is pVdeeediiig between Berlin and St. Petersburg, each claiming that the monarch of the other country issued tha invitation to the meeting in Finland. Messrs. At tha Christchnirh Magistrate's Court yesterday, Patrick Bolton and J. Arthos were charged with, conspiring to defraud Henry Uru (a Maori) of £18 by means of the three-card trick. Both accused (who had pleaded not guilty) were committed for trial.
