At the Papakura Yards on Wednesday there was a lull yarding of cattle of all descriptions, which met with a ready sale at late rates. Dairy cows sold at from £3 10/ to £S 5/; heifers, £3 to £7 10/; backward (springers, £2 10/ to £4 10/; empty cows, £2 to £8 4/; grown steers, £5 10/ to £6 10/; two and three-year-old do., £3 5/ to £5 5/; yearlings, £1 14/ to £- 8/; calves, 15/ to £1 13/. The advertised stoic ewes soid at from 10/ to 11/9; beef at Newmarket rates.
