LACROSSE.
Messrs. Graham, McCoy, and Waiters have been appointed selectors of the Auckland representative team. The Auckland Association has fixed July 10th as being the most suitable date for the annual match against Wellington. It now only remains for the Southern people to confirm this date. With such good material to choose from, the selectors will have a difficult task before them. The arrangements for the Association's dance to be held at the Federal HaJl on June Bth, are well forward. It will be of interest to learn that an effort is being made to get an h'nglish lacrosse team over to Australia next year. The matter will come officially before the next meeting of the Victoria Lacrosse Association. It is estimated that the initial cost would be about £l.'ioo, and gentlemen who are interesting themselves in the matter have already received substantial oilers of financial support.
