Mr. P. Coldiputt. peerotary of the Auekj land Club, has received a communication j from Mr. Mcntiplny, secretary of the j Northern Howling Association, expressI ing pleasure that the Auckland Club had I derided to reafriliate with the Association as from the end of the present year. The letter goes on: "This is all the more I gratifying to our Council, as your club's association with our institution dates from its inception, and your secession j was therefore the more keenly felt." ] In the course of the socia.l gathering at i the Auckland Club's pavilion on Monday l night several of the country visitors gave : expression to their warm appreciation of i the efforts made by the executive of the I A.P.B.A. to make their visit an enjoyable I one. " We owe thanks generally, and j parti<nli rly to Mr. Bryien for the nian- • ncr in which arangements have been made to ensure a good time, which we have all bad," said Mr. Varr, of Hamilton, and he j was echoed by the other brethren from the country clubs.
