CAMBRIDGE STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held tbeir usual fortnightly stock sale at Cambridge on Friday last. There was a" large attendance of buyers from all parts of the district, aud bidding was keen at late rates for all classes of stock offered, and practically the whole ynrdlng was cleared at auction. Sheep: 800 yarded. Twotooth crossbred ewes in lamb realised 13/6; 4 aud 6-tooth store crossbred wethers, 12/; 2-tooth store crossbred wethers, 10/; shorn lambs, 8/0; small woolly lambs. 7/0. Cattle: About 400 head yarded of all descriptions. Forward 4-year-old bullocks sold at £5 12/1 to £8: fair 3-year-old steers, £4 5/: 2J-year-old steers, "up to £3 2/G; yearlings to 18-inonths steers. 27/G; calves. 17/6 to 30/; dairy heifers, best sorts at calving, up to £7; August and September calving, up to £5 10/; light draught filly, £15.
