HUNTING.
THE PAKURANGA HOUNDS. The Pakuranga honnds met on Saturday last at the Paliuranga Forge, and the hounds being thrown off oil Mr Thompson's farm, a hare was soon found, which' gave a good mil over Messrs Clay. Hhttaway, Millen, Roberts, and Macdonald's properties. In the afteruoon rain set in heavily, apd a move was made to "the scoria country about Mount Wellington, but no hares were foiiud, and a start was uinde ror home about three P'clock. Considering tne stnte of the weather there was a good attendance.
