FOOTBALL.

GOLDFIELDS RUGBY UNION. I'AEROA, Friday. At meeting was held at Karangahake oil Wednesday eveuing. Mr Field presided, and the other members present were Messrs Price, MeWhlrter, Bins, McGregor, Corbett, Mettam, Silcoek, and Bush (lion, secretary). A donation of £1 3/ was received from Mr Lnvory, one of the vlce-prosldents. It was decided that a meeting of delegates from the goldflelds, Waikato, and Uotorua Unions be held at Paeroa at au early date, for the purpose of holding a general meeting of the newly-formed South Auckland Bugby Union. Three delegates from Waikato Union, and one from Kotorua Union will attend the meeting. Messrs Bush, Field, and McGregor were appointed to represent the Goldflelds Unlou at the raefling. The secretary was instructed to Inform the Wuihi Union that Murray, a player under that Union, was not eligible to play at Walhl, as he had not compiled with the residential qualification according to the Goldflelds Union. KAWHIA FOOTBALL CLUB. There were about twenty players pi-esent at the annual meeting of the Football Club, held In Mr. Tita Wetere's office. Mr. P. Moke was in the chair. It was decided to re-form the club, and the following officers were elected:—Patron, Mr. W. A. Mason, J. P.; president, Mr. G. G. Jonathan, J. P.; vice-presidents, Messrs. H, J. Falwasser, G| H. Chase, A. F. Wilson, Taul Wetere, L. Wiley, W. Morgan, F. E. Gibbons, G. Jecklln, A. E. Langley, T. Wackett, H. Nesblt, Dr. C. C. Jenkins and Rev. D. B. Ashford; captain, Mr. P. Moke; vice-cap-tain, Mr. Tlta Wetere; sole selector, Mr. Pettlt; management committee, Messrs Falwasser, Moke, Hunter; secretary and treasurer, Mr. Tlta Wetere; referee, Mr. Pettlt. It was also decided that delegates from the various clubs round the harbour be Invited to discuss the advisability of forming a sub-union, affiliated to the Auckland union. The delegates elected were Messrs. Pettlt, Moke, Wetere and Hunter.
