ORPHAN HOME TRUST BOARD
The annual meeting of the Orphan Home Trust Board at the Diocesan office on Thursday afternoon, .was presided over by Mr W. F. Massey, 'M.P.J, and was attended by a number of the trustees and sympathisers.
The Chairman, in proposing the adoption of the report and balance-sheet, remarked tlhat matters generally in connection with the Orphan Home were evidently in a pretty satisfacttory condition, and reflected very great Credit on all those associated with the insituation. One tiling that stamped the institution with particular favour was the fact that during the whole life of the home there had only been four deaths of the 600 odd children reared there. _&e>newf buflfling whifch haft been (put up on the Board's -ine new property at Papatoetoe, he considered were a standing recognition of the excellence of work attaching to their erection, the new home being clearly destined to become one of the best, healthiest, and most excellent of Auckland's benevolent institutions.
The report and balance-sheet werei duly adopted. All the ofnee-bearer's were re-elected, while the same applied to the elective members of the Board. Messrs T. Carter. C. Hay, C. J. IHirks, F. T. Ward, E. Yates, and Major R. B. Morrow".
