(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) PAEROA, this day. In keeping with their progressive policy, the Waihi Gold Mining Company has, I understand, adopted an important scheme for the installation of a large gas-producing plant a.t the mine. Already the company has a similar plant in use at the Waikino Mill, and so successful has it been that the same system is to be adopted at the mine for pumping and haulage purposes. The scheme involves very heavy expenditure. Two immense agitators, 55 feet high, constructed of ferro-eoncrete, are also being added to the Waihi milling plant.
