m WAIKATO STOCK SALES. The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Co.. Ltd.. report:— At Hamilton, on 18th inst., we had a yarding of 345 sheep, 45 pigs, and 440 head of cattle. Prices showed an Improvement in all classes of stock, except fat cows. Fat wethers made 11/9 to 15/lOj fat lambs, 11/B to 13/; fat ewes, 10/ to 10/6; forward lambs, 8/4; cull lambs, 5/6; weaner pigs, 8/6 to 11/6; slips to 15/6; fat steers, £6 to £7 16/; fat heifers and young cows, £4 10/ to £5 5/; aged fat cows, £3 5/ to £3 15/; 16 to 18 months steers, £1 10/ to £2 15/; 18 months heifers, 37/6; forward bullocks, £6 16/; fresh 3-year Bteers, £4 16/; calves, from 20/ to 26/. Immediately after cattle sale we offered t number of horses, drays, and harness, on account of Messrs H. Kelly and W. Richardson. There was a good inquiry, and most of the horses were sold at good prices. Tip drays made £7 to £12 10/; dray harness, £3 10/ to £4 5/; d.f. plough, £5 15/; drill, £12; alsc plough, £8; aged heavy draught geldings, £20 to £27; medium draught horses, 4 to 6 years, £28 10/ to £85 10/; aged medium draughts, £13 to £18; heavy draught geldings, 5 years old, £45. At Ranglrirl, on Saturday, we had a yarding of 655 head of well bred cattle, and in good condition. There was not a large attendance, but those present were buyers or sellers, consequently practically all stock were disposed of. Very forward 4 year-old bullocks made £6 10/ to £6 13/; fresh .8-year-old steers, £5 to £5 157; 23----year-old steers, £3 14/ to £4 IV; 2-year steers, £3 8/ to £3 10/; 15 to 18-months steers, £2 9/ to £2 14/; fat cows, £4 to £5; cows and calves, 20/ to 25/, all counted; 18-month heifers, 80/ to 35/; 2-year-old heifers, £2 5/- to £2 10/; store cows, £1 1/ to £2; good calves, 20/ to 26/: smaller sorts, 16/; dairy cows, forward iv calf, £4 to £5; bulls, £2 to £8; fat 2-todth wethers, 13/; fat ewes, 8/.
