An able-looking sailor created a considerable fuss in Quay-street last night, and was charged this morning with hav-' ing been disorderly while drunk, The man of the rolling main, who appeared minus coat, admitted his guilt. Fritz Laffler and Edward Vetter, firemen aboard the Fifeshire, ineffectually protested innocence on the charge of stealing a pair of boots from a trimmer on board the vessel. They had taken the boots from the trimmer's bag, and sold them in a hotel for 2/. The men were not wanted here,; so the option of a fine was accorded. About £7 was due to each of them from the ship, and the Bench decided to relieve them of £2 of it. BY-LAWS. James Hack, William Leonard, and Thomas Bell were each fined a crown for breaking the byrlaws governing drivers of horses.
