NEW ZEALAND LOAN AND MERCANTILE COMPANY'S REPORT. Horses: At the Durham Yards on Friday horses were brought forward in full numbers, und disposed of. Heavy draughts sold at from £21 10/ to £30 13/; medium do., £15 5/ to £24: hacks and light harness horses, £8 10/ to £21 10/; weeds, £2 10/ to £5 15/. At Waiuku on Saturday there was a very large muster of stock, which met with a ready sale. Dairy cows sold at from £4 10/ to £7 10/; do., heifers, £3 12/B to £5 10/; grown steers, £4 IT/ to £6 3/; two to three-year-old do., £2 10/ to £5 5/; yearlings, £1 18/ to £3 2/; calves, £1 4/ to £1 18/. Cattle: At the Newmarket Yards on Tuesday cattle of all descriptions were yarded in full numbers. Dairy cows sold at from £3 10/ to £6 15/; heifers. £3 0/ to £5 15/; empty cows. £2 10/ to £3 7/C; calves, 18/ to £1 0/. Fat cattle were yarded in large numbers and Bold at scarcely laet week's rates. Steers sold at from £6 to £9 12/6; cows, £3 10/ to £0 13/. The fat cattle were of good quality throughout. Sheep: Sheep were penned in full numbers at Newmarket on Tuesday, well fatted wethers fetching from 13/6 to 18/3; other sorts, 10/ to 12/9; ewes, 0/6 to 16/:!. Lambs were in full supply and they sold well. Well-fatteil changed hands at from 10/3 to 16/3; other sorts, 7/ft to !>/<>: store lambs, in low condition, 2/9 to 6/6. Pigs: Porkers sold at from 10/6 to £1 18/; weancrs, T/G to 18/; bticooers, £2 2/ to £3 7/6. Chaff: Market lightly stocked until next week. To-day Southern is worth £6 5/; local, £5 15/. Wheat: Very firm at 5/. Oate: Stocks light and market firm at 2/4 ex store. Maize: In pood demand at 4/9 ex store. Pollard, £7 ex store. Bran, £4 15/. Potntoes: Supplies are heavy and market has eased to £7 for good samples. Butter: Farmers' separator, choice quality, 9*d to 10d: first grade, SJd; second grade, 8d; inferior, 7Xd to 7}d.
