Notice is hereby given that the Northcote Borough Council proposes to engage iv the following undertaking, viz., the grading formation, and metalling of roads and streets generally within the Borough limits, nod, beluy uuable to provide the necessary funds for such work out of the ordinary revenue of the Borough of Northcote, it Is proposed to borrow, under the provisions of the "Local Bodies Loans Act, 1905." and of every other power thereunto enabling, the stun of £UUOO, at a rate of interest nut exceeding .j per cent per annum. The proposed security and provision lor the repayment of the loan shall be a Special Kate of Threepence in the £, lo be made anil levied upon the ratable values of all ratable properties in the said Borough- also a I Sinking Fund ot ;u least one-half per cent per annum. The currency of the loan will be for :i2 years, and it is proposed to pay out of the loan the costs and charges actually incurved in connection with the raising ot the loan, but not the interest for the lirst year. Notice is hereby given that the Northcote Borough Council proposes to engage iv the following undertaking, viz.: The grading, formation, and metalling of roads generally within the limits of the Borough of Northcote, and being unable to provide the necessary funds out o£ their ordinary revenue, it is proposed to borrow the sum of £4000 for such purposes from the Minister of Finance, under the provisions of part 11. of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 10u8," for a period of forty-one years lit 3i per centum per annum, and, at the expiration of th<> said period, the liability o£ the Northcole Borough Council will cease without further payment.
